SERIOUS SECURITY WARNING FOR SIMS PLAYERS
Now that I have your attention, it has been shared with me from a very trusted person, that a Sims 3 site’s users information has been hacked and then made public.
This is 100% legit: my user name, my email, my location and my password are on display on a public website along with over 3000 + others.
If you have registered (which required username, email and then a password) for any type of Sims site, sims forum or custom content type site (*cough* newsea.com ), go NOW and change your password to your email, your tumblr, or anything else that you want to keep secure.
Please spread the word if you can.
Do not use the same password for two places, change your passwords frequently and if you have been hacked or received threats from T$R please go to this blog and say it! Also please mention if you used the same password here and at T$R, to know if it’s a security hole into tumblr or just if they used your password to enter your tumblr!
