After removing Twinbrook fog I decided to do the same to Moonlight Falls, the world from Supernatural. I simply cannot stand the fog so I removed the floor fog (on various places) and the ambient fog (looking like an orb in CAW) that gave this world a gloomy feel. I did not change the weather settings.

Have you ever wished very hard to play in a Twinbrook without that pesky fog all over your houses? I have, I have googled so hard to find a solution you have no idea. But today, with the great help of ellacharmed I give you the choice: Twinbrook with fog but not on lots or Twinbrook without fog. I’m not talking about the atmospheric fog, I’m talking about the ground fog, the one that goes through houses and objects, the one you can’t delete in Edit Town. That one:

This is a default replacement, it means that all the saves you’ll play with Twinbrook will be modified. It doesn’t seem to show any changes on previously saved Twinbrook, I don’t know how to do that sorry.

Obviously you must own Ambitions for this to work, it is not an extra world but a default for your already existing Twinbrook.

To use it you need to go into

Program files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 Ambitions/GameData/Shared/NonPackaged/Worlds

Rename your Twinbrook.world to Twinbrook.world.bak to create a backup, don’t delete it. To be sure you can copy it on your desktop. You have been warned.

Download only one of the two file, rename it Twinbrook.world and put it into the location above. Clear your cache and you’re ready to play. Don’t forget to put back your original file each time you have to patch your game. To do so just move my edit and rename the original from Twinbrook.world.bak to Twinbrook.world

Sleepy Meadow

“Drift off into Sleepy Meadow and enter a world of pure imagination, where the roads are paved with dreams and the lull of the nearby ocean beckons. The people of Sleepy Meadow insist that “If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it”. Yet beneath the idyllic surface, this town may not be quite as calm and peaceful as it seems…”

Sleepy Meadow is my attempt at editing Sunset Valley to add more space and lots and to make it ready for Seasons by giving it a better look.

It’s my first official CAW project, it is far from perfect and surely have flaws, but it was supposed to be only for me. Since people have asked nicely I worked more on it and now there it is! 

The main changes are in the old Military area and the Stadium, I opened these and added lots and roads. There’s now more lots in the center town for your community lots needs. I can’t really list all the tweaks, if you’re familiar with Sunset Valley you’ll notice them hopefully.

• Empty and non-populated world (kept the 3 pond lots)
• 95ish residential lots
• 44ish community lots
• Most common sizes used (20x30, 30x30, 30x40, 40x40)
• 5 legacy lots 
• All lots have addresses and I kept all the original beautiful vista
• I tried my best to give each community lot a function but feel free to add your own as I’m sure I forgot some of the rabbit holes.

I own all EPs and SPs, I think it mostly require Pets and Ambitions, but I seriously can’t tell you if I used one deco object from World Adventures or another EP. 

It is playable with base game only, but you are warned, the game will replace all the trees and it will look less pretty. Of course they can be removed in Edit Town.
